Ann and Doug are amazing people. They are loving, giving, and so sweet. They are also my very best friend's grandparents. I've had the pleasure of talking to Ann and Doug on a personal level for years now.
They knew me through my "awkward" stages, my rebellious stages, and even the most embarrassing stages of my life so far. I've stayed the night at their home while watching silly shows, laughing, and being way too loud with my bestie - their granddaughter, and even after those nights they said I was welcome back.
Ann and Doug are going to be married 48 years this year, and isn't that amazing? What an incredible bond they have and I'm so grateful they shared it with me! Through everything life can throw at us humans, they are two that made it an absolute point to stick together and live happily, and I admire that probably more than they know. I offered to do this session for them because I thought it was so important to recognize and capture the legacy they have left and to celebrate their marriage after all these years. And if their heartwarming story wasn't enough already, I'm also so glad I got to do this shoot because...look at them. They are precious!
So here's to many more amazing years of these two wonderful people living life and chasing dreams together!
