Dani and Chris are family friends of mine and such awesome people. When I was asked to photograph their wedding, I became so excited.
They had a beautiful wedding in the backyard of someone very close to me (my birth mother - if you know me, you know I was adopted as a baby). It was one of the most precious, most well thought out and well put together weddings I had ever attended. Everywhere you turned there was a pretty personal detail about Dani and Chris' lives together, the twinkly lights had me in awe, and the handmade arbor was the PERFECT touch to complete this rustic, outdoor wedding.
I met Dani and Chris about four years ago, following my first encounter (that I could remember) with my birth mother. They were dating then, had one awesome son, and were just living their days as parents and as a couple. Flash forward to 2015 when their second child was born - their first beautiful little baby girl. Still happy - maybe even happier at this point because their family had gotten bigger. What else could they accomplish?
Finally Chris proposed to Dani. It had only taken them years to get to this point. I was so happy to here this news... that Dani and Chris would finally be taking this step, and I was asked to capture it. What an honor.
Their wedding was gorgeous and as perfect as it should have been for this lovely couple. I'm so grateful to have gotten to capture and witness it.
