Happy birthday to you, you sweet, beautiful, loving woman. I'm so blessed to have been able to spend all 22 years of my life with you by my side and in my corner cheering me on through everything life has thrown at me.
You've been my support, my rock, my idol, my hero. You've seen me at my very worst and believed in me still. You've seen me through my absolute best and have shown me you've never been more proud.
Growing up we had our problems here and there, like any family does. Two women like us sometimes just don't agree or mix well in the midst of certain situations, but no matter what happened, we always said sorry, hugged, and made up. You've always shown forgiveness (especially when it was needed the most), extreme love, and overwhelming amounts of understanding, and I have never been more grateful in any moment than in those moments that you showed me those acts of kindness and love.
Mom, you are one of my very best friends (we can even have a drink at dinner together now and that's super cool). Thank you for always loving me and showing me what kindness, compassion, hard work, belief, understanding, determination, and fascination for baskets and bags small and large for storage purposes looks like. You have shaped me into the crazy but grateful woman I am today.
I love you, mama, more than life. Here's to another year of talking way too much and not laughing enough (you can never laugh too much at my Raven voices). Let's make this year another great one with each other by our sides!
So much love,
Your littlest baby.
